I came away from the visit with a much better understanding of my condition' and the parameters to watch as we move forward. I felt so much better when the visit was over.

Asked and answered questions. Performed examination. His attention was focused on his laptop much of the time with rapid typing even before our conversation began. Not sure if all that activity was about me or the previous patient. Once he focused on me the appointment was fine.

Dr Kauppi gave the most thorough examination I've ever received. He explained, with diagrams, what was going on, while comparing it to what would be normal. He explained what he was looking for in more tests to be performed. Behold he called me on a Friday at 5pm to give results and refer me to [...]. The wait for an appointment was worth the time it took

We reviewed my lab work. It was normal. I informed him my urologist has placed me on a vaginal esteroil cream several antibiotics, and other meds because of continued UTI in the early spring. I was concerned the estrogen hormone would affect my future usage of my thyroid med. He assured me it wouldn't because it was such a low dosage.
