Kim Altizer NP was great! She listened to my history and my needs. When the first GLP1 was approved but co-pay was still too high, she was able to change me to a more affordable medication.

This was my second visit with Kim. My first visit was a bit upsetting. When I brought up my feelings about how it made me feel, she said her intention was never to upset me (I didn't feel that it was) but that often when confronted with facts, people often have a hard time accepting them. I tried to tell it wasn't that I struggled with the facts, but rather her stating that I cannot lose weight without taking GLP-1s. I reiterated this to her and she said facts show that people cannot reset their brains without the drugs. I've lost ~40# on my own at this point so I know it's possible. At this point I'm not sure I will return but instead continue seeing a dietician. It may not be as fast but it would certainly still be a healthy rate.

My dr. Went above and beyond to help me with medical issues that were a concern to me. Very grateful.
