As a dedicated osteopathic family physician with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Detwiler is passionate about helping patients achieve whole health—mind, body and spirit. He values the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families through every stage of life, focusing on wellness while managing chronic conditions. At Centra’s Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency, he is inspired by a collaborative, patient-centered approach that fosters innovation, compassion and better health outcomes. Outside of medicine, Dr. Detwiler enjoys time with his wife and three teenagers, cooking, traveling and appreciating the peace of the great outdoors.
